On July 4, 2019, Cindy Majdecki passed away, succumbing to complications of brain metastasis and leptomeningeal cancer. She fought breast cancer and subsequent brain metastasis without complications for over three years. Throughout her treatment, she suffered very few side effects, no nausea, vomiting, etc. Her acupuncture treatments and herbal formulas kept her very well through all. As late as mid April, 2019, she was still showing no evidence of disease. Suddenly she suffered a seizure in May and testing showed the brain metastasis had returned and, worse, had spread to the meningeal layers in her brain. Treatment was to begin on June 3rd, when she suffered another debilitating seizure and was in the hospital (St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, CA) till her passing on July 4th. Her care at St. Jude was incredible – caring, compassionate, all one could hope for.
Her web site and facebook pages will remain open and updated with information from her archives as well as new information on health, acupuncture and lifestyle advice. Please visit and leave a comment.
She is survived by her husband Jack Majdecki and her daughter Joslin Meraz. Donations and appreciation to Breast Cancer Angels who were very helpful to Cindy and Jack during her fight.
